Capitalism would really rock if the boards had the balls to stand up to self-indulgent CEOS who ride roughshod over workers and stockholders.......read the wall strret journal article on CEOS using corporate jets for their personal rides for weekly golf expeditions......time to remove the deductability of extravagance. If they want to use such toys......quit making the stockholders and taxpayers foot the bill.

capitalism seems to be easily abused just like everything else. If financial gain is the number one priority of a society many things will suffer and our children will pay for our greed.

With that said I still have to point out that I hate socialism But restrained capitalism would be a great thing.

    US has Bastardized Capitalism

But wait what is China and their economy boast a 20% yearly growth rate. Our form of capatilism use to work until it became bastardized by CEO's making 1500 times the average worker. Companies who look to other countries work forces for a buck. So now again tell me how much US capitalism rulz? Or perhaps capitalism is self destructive in the end.

By definition Capitalism in its purist form does nothing for the common good. Capitalism is only meant for the people who it is given too. It is good that our goverment helps small businesses enjoy capitalism but it is bad in the end because not everyone wan win in a capitalistic society. Someone must lose, it is like playing the stock market. There is a finite amount of money to be had. Is this a socialist view? Perhaps! But it is my knowledge that true socialism has never been achieved.
