Blast hits Hezbollah stronghold
There has been an explosion near the home of a member of the militant group Hezbollah in Lebanon, reports say.
The blast took place near the home of "one of Hezbollah's leaders" in the group's stronghold of Baalbek, Al-Jazeera news channel said.
Reuters said the man's car was destroyed but that he escaped unhurt.
Israeli warplanes have recently bombed southern Lebanon, following clashes between its troops and Hezbollah, the Lebanon-based Shia Muslim movement.

This is from Reuters but it looks identical to your writing style.
Hezbollah accuses Israel of failed assassination attempt
Hezbollah accused Israel of carrying out a failed attempt to kill one of its officials on Friday and said it would do "what is necessary" to defend itself.
"We blame the Zionist enemy for planning and executing this attack," a Hezbollah statement said after an explosion destroyed the car of the official seconds after he left the vehicle in eastern Lebanon.
Israeli officials denied any Israeli military involvement in the incident.

"A series of mysterious bombings have taken place in Lebanon since former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri was killed with 20 other people in February"
Sounds like others are involved in bombings in Lebanon. Hezbollah is despised by many in your country. Not possible the explosion came from another source?

You have no idea how much Israel seeks peace. How does one have peace when we are de****g with Hezbollah in the north, leaders such as Saddam (until recently), Ahmadinijad who wishes us wiped off the map, the Palestinian terror organizations whose explicit goal is to kill civilians...peace is a long way off. The Arabs hate us too much, demand too much, and next to impossible to negotiate with. This is not because the leaders don't want to negotiate but rather they are afraid of the Arab Street.

"There is probably cause to believe that the decision to assassinate former Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri could not have been taken without the approval of top-ranked Syrian security officials and could not have been further organized without the collusion of their counterparts in the Lebanese security services," the investigators said in a report given to U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan October 20.
The report has been turned over to the Security Council, which will meet with German Prosecutor Detlev Mehlis, head of the investigation, and discuss the report on October 25.
REPORT CALLED “SERIOUS” AND “DISTURBING”
"This is a very serious and deeply disturbing report," Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs David Welch said at a briefing in Washington October 21. "There is converging evidence pointing at both Lebanese and Syrian involvement in this terrorist act."

anyway back to the topic , it seem Hezbollah is preparing a big retaliation, the cowards are denying their responsiblity for the explosion, but the retaliation is coming sooner or later.

Mehlis to leave UN Hariri investigation team
Lebanon-Syria-UN, Politics, 12/10/2005
The chairman of the UN investigation committee into the assassination of the former Lebanese prime minister Rafiq al-Hariri, the German prosecutor Deltev Mehlis said that his mission ends next Thursday.
Mehlis said following a lunch work with the Lebanese minister of justice Charles Rizq that "the bad news is that my mission ends on December 15, and the good news that the team formed by the UN will continue its investigation."
Mehlis explained that there will be an interim phase during which the UN secretary general Kofi Annan will choose a successor for Mehlis. The Mehlis vowed to spend time with his successor in order to brief him on all aspects of the case.
Earlier, Mehlis met with the Lebanese attorney general Saeed Mirza and the Lebanese judge in charge of the assassination file of Hariri, Elias Eid.
On Wednesday, the Lebanese prime minister Fouad Siniora played down the consequences of Mehlis's decision not to continue his mission and its effect on the UN investigation.
Mehlis refused to respond to all American and Lebanese pressure to remain in his mission which expires according to the contract signed with the UN on December 15, 2005.
In his last work day, Mehlis is to submit a report to Annan on where the UN investigation on the Hariri probe stands.

They do hate us and do want to kill us. The view from your area must be easy. The way I see it is this: I have served in the territories, I did my time in the IDF and now I have reserves until I'm 50, probably also in those areas. I have also witnessed two homicide bombings, one in Jerusalem and one in Netanya. What I tell you is from experience. I have seen first hand how both sides react to one another. I can honestly tell you that the hatred that Arabs have towards Israel is growing with each generation. You can blame Israel til the sun comes up but I can tell you, from experience, the hatred is high and much of it has nothing to do with Israel but rather their own domestic issues. They just haven't figured that out yet.
