Well, it seems the predictions are coming true.
1. The Palestinians are not desiring democracy (probably never did). Rather, ONE institution of Democracy was used (or abused) by Hamas supporters as a means to an end: the means=free elections and the end= a new Islamic State in the Middle East...a far cry from democracy
Hamas official: Group will make Islamic law a source for legislation
1. A senior Hamas official told Canada's Globe and Mail on Friday that the new government the group will form will make sharia, or Islamic law, a source of law in the Gaza Strip and West Bank.
2. He said the government will modify the existing Palestinian education system to and institute a more Islamic curriculum, and will separate boys and girls.
I wonder, will homicide bombings be removed from the "to do" list? After all, Hamas is an Islamic movement yet they promoted suicide and murder, which is clearly against Islam. They need to stop murdering civilians before implementing Sharia

The sharia is the main source of legislation, for Iraq and Afghanistan. After the US invasion, when they made new laws. Nothing new.
