Hezbollah Attacks Northern Israel
Nasrallah and his gang of terrorists began shelling Israel in revenge for the "killing of the 17-year-old Lebanese shepherd who crossed into Israel." So, let's get this straight: an Arab infiltrates into an enemy's territory, gets shot in the process, and then we are attacked for it?
Hezbollah mounts attack on IDF post near Lebanon
Hezbollah forces attacked an Israel Defense Forces post on the Lebanese border on Friday, two days after troops shot dead a Lebanese shepherd in the area.
One IDF soldier was lightly injured in the attack.
The attack targeted the Har Dov military base in northern Israel, near the disputed Chebaa Farms area, the army said.
A Hezbollah statement said the base took "direct hits" from the shelling. The attackers fired anti-tank rockets and mortars at the post.
In retaliation, IDF artillery shelled areas on the Lebanese side of the border, according to one report. Shortly afterwards, Israel Air Force planes bombed Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah vowed on Thursday to avenge the killing of the 17-year-old Lebanese shepherd who crossed into Israel on Wednesday.
Anticipating an attack, IDF had bolstered its presence in northern Israel.
Hezbollah has periodically attacked IDF troops on the border, mainly in the Shaba Farms area, since Israel ended its 22-year occupation of south Lebanon in 2000.
Lebanon says Shaba is Lebanese. The United Nations and Israel say it is Syrian land. Hezbollah says its attacks are in retaliation to Israeli infringements on Lebanese sovereignty, including almost daily flights by Israel Air Force warplanes.
The Security Council authorized UN peacekeepers this week to remain another six months in south Lebanon. The force had deployed in the area after an Israeli invasion in 1978.

UN representative in Lebanon condemns Israeli killing of Lebanese shepherd
Friday, February 03, 2006 - 05:22 PM [Kods Time]
15 year old Ibrahim Rhayyel was put in his final resting place. Family members, friends and residents of the Boustra farm, carried Rhayyel's flag-draped coffin through the streets of his hometown, Boustra, before heading to the cemetery.
Ibrahim was herding his sheeps in the liberated Boustra farm, when Israeli forces shot him. Reports said that an Israeli commandos unit was setting an ambush some 700 meters deep inside Lebanese liberated territories. The boy's distressed father, Yusuf, lashed out at UNIFIL troops saying that his son was killed in a place very close to them but they did not do anything to prevent the killing.
The Lebanese cabinet condemned the killing and decided to summon UN representatives to discuss the possibility of filing a complaint against continuous Israeli aggressions to the Security Council.
For his part, UN representative in Lebanon Gere Pedersen, condemned the killing following his meeting with Prime Minister Fouad Saniora, calling on the concerned parties to practice self restraint.
UNIFIL senior advisor Milos Strugar said that the investigation into the killing of the Lebanese shepherd Ibrahim Rhayyel confirmed that the 15 year old boy was killed by Israeli soldiers inside Lebanese territories.
He said that Rhayyel was killed on the Lebanese side of the UN delineated blue line separating the liberated farm of Boustra and the remaining occupied farms of Shebaa. Strugar added that the final results of the investigation will be handed to the proper authorities.Arkoub committee
The committee of Arkoub and Shebaa Farms residents demanded the Lebanese government to confirm the Lebanese identity of the Israeli occupied Farms. During a press conference at the Press Federation headquarters in Beirut, on the occasion of its 21st anniversary, the committee's president Mohamad Hamdan said it is Lebanon's right to directly seek the liberation of the Farms and the Kafarshouba hills, through every possible means including the resistance.

Did UNIFIL report a 'blue line' voilation by the Lebanese kid?.
Something isn't right here. How did a shepard boy cross the border fence?. Thats a pretty formidable barrier for a kid to cross!.

Listen Drama-boy...get your facts right. I understand that you are a supporter of this terrorist group but at least understand that on numerous occassions Hezbollah has indiscriminately launched rockets in Israeli TOWNS and not bases; therefore injuring and killing civilians. I understand you want to believe this group is a bunch of "freedom fighters" but when you deliberately target civilans, you are in fact, a terror group.
