Hello all.
I am new to this weight lifting and am hoping for alot of help from you seasoned pros.
I am looking not soo much for really defined muscles or anythign, but juts to be big and have lotsa strength.
I am wondering a few things.
How do you do a dead lift?
What are other good work outs and techniques for pure animal strenght.
I wanna be a monster.

Deadlifts, Squats, Power Cleans, T-Bar Rows, Benches, Seated Presses
all done explosive with good form is a good place to start, add in some
exercises for your smaller muscle groups as they play a part in getting
your bigger compound exercises increasing...
Far as deadlifts go I use a shoulder width grip over hand/under hand with
a narrow stance and start the movement deep exploding the first 4"-6"
with my legs then it's all back from there until I lock out the movement...
Also if you want to be strong as a elephant you gotta eat like a elephant so
in other words if you want to be really strong you need to fuel your body so
eat alot of the right foods especially proteins...
What if you are already really fat. Do you need to eat more then ?
Is should clarify that.
I am 5'11 and 325 pounds. Not all fat but I am a pudgy bugger. :banana:
your gonna have to diet down. beeing 325 pounds, even at a 5% bodyfat, is not healthy. you should get your diet in track and lose all the weight you can, while maintaining stength.Quote:

Having some fat is good for strength, it gives you more leverage and it's esp good if you are a superheavyweight.

For a non drug user, you must eat more protein and carbs than your body need to optimally gain strength. This will more likely than not increase your BF%.

water is a different thing. water is considered "lean muscle mass" thats how adds get away with murder. water is the leverage you want
but you got me wondering about fat and leverage.
to the experienced bros.....will fat give you leverage strength. if you loose fat and 0 muscle, would you loose strength through leverage?

Sorry, but seriously now, you might wanna try a CKD diet or something. I have found it possible to put on lean mass and strengh on this type of plan, and 'm sure you could probably lose weight on it.
