How do skinny 187 LB Olympic lifters press 400 LB's ?

How do skinny 187 LB Olympic weightlifters clean &

jerk 400 LB's? They look like they are going to

break. They have less muscle on them than a

gymnast. I was asked to put this in this forum. Thanks

About 1/3 is technique, about a 1/3 is raw strenght and the other third is Mental Discipline.

There is a lot that goes into training as an OLY lifter. You have to be very careful how you set up your training cycles. There is so much more to it than just working out 5 times weekly, 2 times daily. It takes a lot of time and dedication and most importantly, it takes desire.
