I never really believe these threads because they start honest and get crazy, LOL the first guy will say 450 or so then by page 3 there people are deadlifting 750w/ no straps for 12 reps.

I'll keep the thread honest. I pulled 415 beltless / wrapless this morning at 180. I just started getting serious with deadlifts though. And got a little excited and forgot to put on the belt.

225kg(505ibs)with straps and belt when I weighted 220 lats fall. Gonna try and pull that again this week but now my bodyweight is only 190.

Scratch the 415, put up 440 today at 180 with a belt.
I hate it...i cant deadlift shit..its prolly my worst lift. I deadlift 410 at 250 Im 18 and it wont budge

thats exactly what i did.at first sumo sucks, but with time it gets alot easier. i kept throwing my back out conventional. so i switched to sumo. best conventional dead was in the lower 400''s, best sumo was 650. made a big difference for me.Quote:
