Power Clean Max?

This is the power forum, so why not talk about the exercise that requires the most power. Cleans!!!

My current max is 240

I am 6'0'' 195 lbs and I currently max at 225 for my power cleans. Hey SuperDave I know your an athlete so I wondered if you have ever donw clean, squat, and press?

Just clean it upp and not press??

I can clean 190 and clean and press 145.

I can powerclean my bodyweight (145#)! Laugh! HAHAHA!!! :D

I really can't powerclean. Hell, I can deadlift 375# and lockout 445#, but cleans? HAHAHA!!! :D :D :D Weakling me.

i power clean 295 it seems like thats all we do (that and squat and bench) those are the 3 excercises that my coaches test us on so we have to focus a lot on that form is the most important thing by far

I've power clean and jerked 132.5kg (292#) and hang power cleaned 140kg (308.5#). I weighed 95kg (209#).

did 3 reps with 154 today in clean and press.
Feels so good when the form starts to get better in it.

225*4 havnt maxed for one rep

265 for my power clean at 195 pounds.

At 230lbs I Can Clean 250ibs

Try Kettlebells for cleans, snatches, swings and tell me what you think. IMO they are a whole hell of a lot more natural(ROM etc.) and a hell of a better workout overall. You can read my post in the workout forum for more info.

I did 315 when I tried doing cleans. I don't do them much but they are a fun lift.

I did 225 with a shoulder width grip, only lately have I been going a wider grip. It's a bit tougher to get the form and the balance right, but I've noticed 225 seems a lot easier.

I'm pretty close to achieveing a 220 power clean.

dont really hit the power clean as much, but hand cleans, ive been doing them since 9th grade of H.S. (football), always low reps, currently weigh about 198 and can hand clean 275 for 3, but it seems like i cant hit 295 yet, ppl say power cleans are easier, cause u start from the ground up, i guess i just been doing hand cleans so long that i think there easier.

at 189 lbs i got 240lbs for cleans, i am in the middle of a cycle an now i'm 208, lookin for 250 this time around

oh yeah, does ne one know of a power clean max chart someplace online????

at 179.6 i squat cleaned 285 accompanied by a ferocious jerk in a meet and in practice could power clean 255. clean/jerk + paused bench total of the meet was 560
