carpet presses are like floor presses done on a carpet about the others sorry bro can't help ya. i have no clue either.
wtf does the carpet have some magical value that a floor doesn't. I wonder why they listed them as a seperate exercise from floor press.
Yeti, I think cubanito meant carpet presses are like board presses. You roll up a thing of carpet and place it on your chest like a board. Some people like it because you have to 'stop' the weight at the bottom. If you don't, it will sink into the carpet. This simulates a real bench press. If you didn't control the weight at chest level, it would sink in. This is different from board press, because the boards are firm, and the weight wont sink in.
Hassock squats are similar to box squats, except for you squat off a hassock (which is usually low, like a low box)
I am not sure about the Anderson squats. Do a google search on Paul Anderson, you may find something.

my bad musc I meant to say that:rolleyes:
ok thanks guys i was starting to to get a little confused on the carpet presses.
If i'm not mistaken Anderson squats are just another name for chain suspended squats. You squat the weight up starting from the bottom position at or below parallel just like a suspended GM so the concentric phase is first with a dead weight.
