had a great time @ NOV 9 NASA WV REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP! This was my first time competing in WV.

Thank you Greg & Susan Van Hoose(Vice-President & Meet director of NASA) for opening their homes for Clint & I during the whole weekend. Also, I met a great new friend, a black lab!

BODY WEIGHT: 206.8
EQUIPMENT: Forever I.A.D. poly & denim

1st attempt: 457(poly)
2nd attempt: 507(denim)
3rd attempt: 518(denim) X

I strained my tricep tendon on my 2nd attempt. So, I benched 518, but I racked it before the command. I was in a little pain and I just couldn't hold the weight any more.

I set 2 national records & got best lifter in the bench press.

Solid Rock Christian Strength Team(Clint Poore & J.T. HALL) put on an great Christian event for the audience & lifters too.

Congrats, that is some great lifting. NASA is drug tested and single ply only, right?

Did you lift in the 220's only weighing 207? or do you guys have different weight classes? Just curious, never done a NASA meet, so I am picking your brain.

Very very strong lifting there, congrats yet again.

N.A.S.A. does drug-test & only allow single-ply equipment is allowed. Lifters were tested @ this meet.

NASA has different weight class. Also, I lifted in the 227 weight class.

Men’s Weight Classes
119, 127.8, 138.8, 154.3, 170.8, 187, 205, 227, 250.2, 280, 315 & SHW

Women’s Weight Class
101.4, 110.2, 119, 127.8, 138.8, 154.3, 170.8, 187, 187+
