my bench is going nowhere fast !1

    Hi.
I follow the wsb workouts. but my bench has gone nowhere in about 6 weeks. My board presses aren't moving up, nothing. My lower body seems okay though

I am only doing 6 sets a week for triceps, somebody said this could be a problem ??

I have no bands or chains ( they should be here in a bout a week) - will this help alot ??

I currently bench raw- but have been thinking of getting a shirt, as i am weak off the chest.

    stats- 24 , raw bench 275 - for about 6 weeks aaah !!

One thing that SERIOUSLY helped me gain quite a bit was negatives... I didn't think they would make that much of a diff but it really did help push me up a few more lbs. Just gotta be careful and have a spotter who knows what the hell they're doin since they'll be liftin most of the weight off you.

    my ME lifts

    2 board
    floor press
    1 board
    3 board
    full bench/ high rep dumbell
    rotated every week
(i lift raw, for the moment- until I decide on shirt, then order it)
    repeat.

tri exercise - jm press, in/de/ flat cg bench
    tate press, rack lockouts

back doesn't seem to be weak.

little direct shoulder work is done also

More tricepts first of all, db skull crushers, regular skull crusheres. You shold be doing between 40 and 60 reps for all your assistance work every day you trian them. like 5 sets of 8 or 4 sets of 10 or 8 sets of six . then more direct shoulder work with lateral, rear and front delt raises as well as some db military if yoiu want.. Then more lat work done in the same plain of motion as your bench. You can't expect huge gains form just 6 workouts. It takes time.

Ya give it a good 6 weesk before you evaluate. I would say 8 minimum. Westside is setting up your body slowely to result in big lifts once all is brought up. IN all lifts too.

    thanks guys.
just to clarify, ive been training wsb for 3 months, but the last 1.5 mos has stagnated.

so bump up the tri work, and more delts.
see in 8 weeks if it worked. Is that correct. Thanks again for the help
