Florida Bench Meets?

DOES ANYBODY KNOW ABOUT ANY UP COMING FLORIDA BENCH MEETS OR ANY OTHER BENCH PRESS MEETS ANY WHERE COMING UP SOON THANKS DOESNT MATTER WHAT LEAGUE

I just did an APA meet this last weekend in St. Pete. I think Bob Youngs is having one on the 26th of April near west palm and thier is a full AAPF meet here in Tampa on that same date. I'll see if i can find bobs email adress for you.

WEll there is an apa meet at Club Fit ( crosstown shopping plaza) 2925 Military Trail, West Palm Fl. Its April 26th , you could try calling them for more details or look on www.apa-wpa.com

I don't think it is the same as Bob Youngs meet thogh. I think his email is [email protected] i can't find his other one.

GRIMM that's the meet I was talkin bout it's $35 per division and if you don't have a APA meet card for adults it's $25 for high school students $15. It's weird though b/c although there are diff category classes like teen 16-17 and teen 18-19 it's by formula.

don't worry about formula , just go and lift. You need the experience anyay.

IN june I belive the 14th there is a full power meet APF in DAYTONA.

I will be hosting a non-sanctioned bench meet on Saturday, May 31st at the Oviedo YMCA, located right outside of Orlando at 7900 Red Bug Lake Rd, Oviedo, FL 32765. I work as a Personal Trainer there and am trying to bring more exposure and credibility to the sport of Powerlifting in this area. I am only charging a $25 entry fee and will have sculptured plaques for top 3 in each weight class, for each division. The best overall male and female lifter by formula will win a 6 month membership as well. The meet will follow basic APF/IPA regulations.
