Im doing westside and in all articles by tate or louie it says to stop the assistance work 1 or 2 reps short of failure. But I always go to failure in every exercise.
Should I stopp going to failure? How do you guys do it?

It just depends, sometimes failure will come before I knew it would....but most of the time, i will stop before failure. Im not saying its easy, The set will still burn, and be pretty difficult, but not to failure...
I would say stop short..the way Dave described it to me was to kill yourself on the first two movements and then leave one or two reps in the tank.

If you are going to failure on every set you are not performing a Westside Routine.. it's that simple.. Sometimes failure happens..lol.. but it shouldn't be something you train for every workout..
