    Question About Worksets

    Assume Workout M-W-F rest weekends
Assuming work sets are done after the warmup and ramp ups where the weight is such that you cant do more than 4-8 reps, and A power move is bench, military, squat etc.

The question is - how many reps and sets do you all prefer in your worksets ?

Ive been doing 6reps x 6sets but it has been suggested that I should go 4x4 and use a weight that I really cant do more than 4 resps

And... how much rest in between the works sets ?

    5x5

Start at about 65-77.5% of your 1rm(depending on your age, experience and some other factors) and increase it by anywhere from 5-20lbs per week until you peak.

And rest from 3 min, to whatever it takes, to be ready for your next set.

Hit -that has a good one ...You should also just try what works for you ..If you are geting good gains in 6sets of 6 stay there if not try something else..Always read and search for new ideas that you think may work for you and try them out ...Good luck and Happy Easter .......CDOG
