    Yo Lion..USP Cottonseed oil

I ordered and received 100 MLs of cottonseed oil, but it came in a little screw on top plastic bottle, not a sterile vial. Is that the normal procedure? I didn't order any conversion kit, just the oil.

Am I to assume that this oil is not sterile for doing research experiments?

    Thanks

Yo 1Vic, you da man for the fast reply.

I'm not much of a research man to go to all that trouble though. I was hoping to buy it sterile in the vial.

Maybe I'll take what I got and spread it on a salad, sprinkle some vinegar on there, and have at it.

well any oil that you use sterile or not will need to be filtered in the final process plus BA is a part of every recipe , it sterilizes. Keep it and use it.

I hear what you're saying, but I was intending to use the sterile oil simply to mix into the syringe to reduce the pain upon injecting for the lab animal. In other words, from the sterile vial, sucked up into the syringe, and then into the lab animal.

*lol* You know, as I was unscrewing the top, I was thinking exactly that.

Thanks for the info. Lion. Your turn around time was great BTW.
