positive on drug test!

I work at a fire dept. we have the normal drug test,I have a freind that tested positive on the drug test while he was taking clen . why was this?do you have to be specificaly tested for clen. if it doesn't show up in a norm. drug test the reason I ask this is there was a little gossip around the dept.about him taking clen,can someone please help me with this it would be greatly appreciated!!!!

it is a mild amphetamin... it should be out of the system very quick ..if anyone where to get cought they could say they were taking zyrtek ( sp ) the alergy med ....it has suda-ephedrine in it. clen dosen't but it would trigger the same test. it will be out of his system fast
