Why is it so hard to get injectable b12?

I'm just wondering why it's so hard for research companies to source human grade injectable vitamin b12? I heard it's really hard for some reason? Care to share?

AR-R and many other sites are out of stock. I heard AR-R talk about how it's hard for them to get injectable B12 in another thread. This is why I'm asking.

I voted sub-lingual. But either way, would love the availability.

Tack and feed stores usually carry injectable veterinary b12 for next to nothing. Although I ended up getting the 5000mcg methyl b12 from the brand jarrow. Thanks again Austinite

May I ask why you want injectable b12? Its normally given to people that have pernicious anemia or other medication conditions. Most people can get all the b12, imho, that they need absorbed via the digestive track. Remember that Vitamins B and C are water-soluble vitamins that are not stored in the body and must be replaced each day. Vitiamins A, D, E, K are stored in the body. So unless you have a real medical condition that requires you to take the injections of B12, I would not waste money on it cause it is just going to end up being expensive urine.

Why would you quote me? you're asking about B12 in general, I am specifically speaking of Methylcobalamin.

Because life is much better with B12 excess. Try getting your B12 in the 4000+ serum and you'll see a big difference. On cycle I use 1000mcg daily. RDA's are a complete joke.

    It is easy to get.

I have been holding off putting together an article about Methylcobalamin B-12 and the benefits due to the lack of material I could find that would make the process simple to understand. So for now on this thread I will just tell of my experience.

Methylcobalamin B-12 can be found all over the internet at many different price ranges. I found Jarrow Formula’s to be a manufacturer and you can google for a source to purchase this. I obtained the 5000mcg lozenges at a fair price but there are others as well as the injectable are obtainable at 1000mcg per but much more expensive
    .
I have been having a problem with my appetite and my energy all while on a good dose of Test as well as other compound. This is just a problem and the ruin of some of my cycles. NO appetite, no food, no energy, no grow…Simple Simon.

I obtained the 5000mcg lozenges and for the first two days front loaded (double) I since have been taking one lozenge a day as the bottle says. 5000mcg. within three days my appetite increase a good % and my energy level went thru the roof. After 8 days i still have increased energy and a much more desired appetite.

I have been taking a time release and a lozenge Cyanocobalamin B-12 supplement everyday but it never had any effect that I could tell. Now I must explain my particular situation. I am 62 and have Hepatitis C. This means I have to some degree cirrhosis of the liver. (don’t bash me guys)

I have learned that even though my BW says I have a good level of B-12 in my blood my liver is not absorbing and using it like it should. The Methylcobalamin B-12 goes through a methionine synthase and allows my body to absorb the B-12 before my body can excrete it. …crazy mike

Good liver or bad the Methyl is absorbed more efficiently and you can reap more benefits with this supplement.

I ended up getting the 5000 mcg Methyl sublingual - Costco had it.
This has got to be an improvement over a multivit, but is injectable still the desired route?

Nothing is really comparable to injections. But methyl sublinguals are very very effective.

That's available all over the net. A google search would yield 100's of thousands of results. But that is Cyanocobalamin, not methylcobalamin.
