You sure your body can sythesize 130g of protein?
no but im sure the extra wont hurt me
The protein values are vastly different between cottage cheese and yogurt. CC has way more.
I agree with bad man. 130g of protein in one meal is too much. The only benefit is that you would be able to clear a room with one fart.
so whats the maximum u should take at once so i can reformulate the recipe?
I wouldn't be SURE that it won't hurt you. Some of it may be excreted but some of it could also be converted to glucose.Quote:

Not much difference between this and a double Big Mac combo meal with a vanilla milkshake. If that's what suits your dietary needs, then mission accomplished.
It depends on a number of factors. If all of the stars are aligned (insulin levels, testosterone, T3, etc) then maybe you could synthesize 80 or 90g. But I'd go for 60 if you're looking for a high-protein drink. I personally limit mine to 40-50 per meal.Quote:

Just a suggestion - I'd lose the oatmeal and milk if you're going to drink this before bed.
yes i agree, i tried this shake and hes right, its actually realy tasty
definately dont want those carbs before bedtime though, lose the oats at night
any one noticed that hes eating raw eggwhites.. dude your either going to be going to the hospital or the crapper for a long time..
eww raw eggs are gross. I did some research for a grad class on protein supplementation and it said that the body (though highly individalized) can't absorb more than 35-40 g at a time. Some is used for tissue repair and growth, some is used to replenish your amino acid pool and the rest is just excreted in your urine. If you have too much extra it can also be turned into a cho or sugar or something eventually and stored as fat. Cant remember exactly the process that it goes through but i know it can be stored as fat somehow. The research said 25-30 g immediatly (30 min) pre andpost workout and different types of the day was best for maximum absorption. 100g at once is going to be wasted.
So you make one big shake, be sure to refrigerate it when not in use, and sip on it for a couple of hours post workout.
I don't think there is a biochemical pathway that converts protien to glucose.Quote:

You could just opt for shots of Liquid Egg whites out of the carton that way you dont have to be concerned about going to the hospital. That is what I do. I add them to my shake and its **** tasty.Quote:

One more thing.. I believe that your body can absorb around 60g of protein, within 2-3 hours....
i have never seen 'em
i'll ask the people at the supermarket next time i go
Bro, all it basically is, is the clear part of the egg... yolk-less....Quote:

Good luck bro.. and check out the rest of the Diet Section as well bro.. worth a look :hello:
correct me if i'm wrong, but your body can only breakdown x amout of creatine, then the rest is wasted and turn to fat!?Quote:

I have never been stuffed from a shake. A person that is highly anabolic, aka taking AAS is looking at roughly a maximum of 70-75gms every 3 hrs, at least that is what the study we performed in lab results were.
