Spaghetti and meatballs
Well, I played chef today and I have to say it turned out well. This recipe is low carb, very high protein, and delicious!
a box of Atkins pasta
extra lean ground meat (I used 93% lean beef)
seasonings and spices of choice
1. Cook pasta, then drain. Put in olive oil or butter so that season sticks to pasta better then put in desired seasonings (I used tomato and basil...a lot of it!).
2. Put meat in a mixing bowl and "shumsh" then add seasoning of choice (I used rosemary and garlic, and salt and pepper). "Shumsh" some more to make sure it gets distributed well. Form into balls.
3. Cook meatballs until no red is left in the middle.
4. Eat and save the rest for other meals. You can use any number of spices. This does not even taste like nasty wheat pasta, it's very good!
Please tell me what you think if you decide to make this.
