Cutting Phase - Shake for breakfast
I mostly see shakes for the bulking phase so i'm going to experiemnt with this cutting phase shake tomorrow.
I buy the atkins yogurt cuz it has 12 grams protein and 4 grams carbs (1 sugar). I'm going to put it in the freezer to make the shake thicker.
1 frozen atkins yogurt (french vanilla)
2 scoops whey protein
1/2 cup oatmeal
5 ice cubes
8 -10 oz water.
put in blender and drink.
should yield something like this
cals: 450
protein:63
carbs:31
fats: (can't remember the nutritional info for the fats, the yogurt has 1 gram fat)
I'll let ya know how it works out. i love shakes but also try to get most of my proteini from foods, ie. tuna mainly screw mercury, when i go the grocery store every stares at me as i unload the shelf that is full of tuna and put into my cart, lol
