Thread: French toast

    French toast

    5 egg whites 1 egg yolk
    whisk with a couple tblspns of 1% milk
    add tblspn splendra
    some cinnamon to taste
    1 tspn of vanilla extract

    2 slices of your best bread ( find a low fat high protein bread )

    cook on a non stick skillet no oil .

    top with some natural peanut butter ( if you can )

    and/or some low carb jam or splendra syrup ...

    add some banana or fruit /

    add a protein drink and enjoy ...

    Hey Mark,
    Sounds good.
    Question though- Is Splenda anything like Fruitose? From what I have read they appear to be descibed as the same substance? Not that it really matters, I just happen to have some Fruitose on hand.

    I really don't see any diff with any avail ( low carb ) sweetners , find one you like .... If I could I would just use SUGAR ....8>( ...

    This was probablly answered ages ago.

    Splenda lists ingredients as

    Maltodextrin,Sucralose.

    I love the stuff. =)
