may have pulled right middle back doing shrugs
I was doing barbell shrugs and on my last rep the right side of my middle back got really tight... right fter that i could like not move at all and i was super stiff.... that was 6 days ago and my back still hurts if i make sudden movements and my back is still stiff... it doesnt seem to be getting better..... any thoughts of what i should do besides ice????
any help would be appreciated because i start training for my meet this week..(well im suppose to if i get better)

Well that's a injury i had many times and i get a massage from a RMT for deep tissue massage and you will feel better after the massage,i will tell you it hurts a bit but you will feel day and night.You might need a few massage tops.Best of luck!

I get that sh!t from time to time when training back. It sux. I usually take 4 advil and a 500mg methocarbamol every 4-6 hours, jacuzzi, hot massage, E-stim with chiro, ultrasound.
