    clomid

New to this and trying to find some information on using clomid. I'm 69 and work out 6 days a week cardo/lifting. I am presently using androgel 4 pumps daily. After using it for a while my T was 311. Would clomid help raise my T? If yes how much for how long and with or without the androgel. Thanks

There is no place for Clomid in your current routine.

    Are you currently self-prescribing TRT?

No. Androgel from Dr. He feels 311 in normal range. I thought it should be higher. Any suggestions? Thanks

Your Dr. probably doesn't want you to suffer from typical Test sides by giving you a higher amount of Androgel .

Since now it is obvious that he runs blood tests for you, does he also check your prostate, lipids, enzymes and etc.?

It is perfectly normal for you to experience shrinkage. Clomid is not for fixing that issue, as I tried to indicate in my first response, it is an irrelevant compound for your routine.

Tell your doctor that you are not happy with your experience of testicular atrophy and discuss the option of administering HCG Pregnyl 250iu every 3 days to get your boys back. FYI, this won't have you suffer from any side effects.

Also tell him that you firmly believe you will benefit more by increasing the amount of Androgel since you are working out 6 times a week and in need of a better & quicker recovery, which is what Test does for the most part. He should be OK with it as long as your blood test results indicate no damage given to your health and everyone is happy.

HCG is the name of substance. Prengyl is the commercial brand. Same stuff.

250iu every 3 days is the medically advised protocol. It does the job, with no estrogen related side effects, meaning your doctor will not have to worry about also putting you on an AI.

    Yeah, no problem.

You can always come back and share your progress with us. I am a bit curious how your Dr. will respond to your brand new information you will be discussing with him during your next visit.
