Whats the best way to train calves? i.e., form, sets, reps? This tends to be the most underdeveloped area of my body. I have alot of tone and definition when i flex, but they don't seem to grow at all. I also work to total failure, but lately, I haven't been feeling the next day soreness.

You might try doing HST-method work for your calves strictly. Or you can try the luke souder calf routine which you can search for at *****.com
Buenas suertes. Calves are shit man! |

I usually do calves three times a week. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
You can do standing calf raises, seated calf raises, or you can use the leg press machine. I usually start off with my toes pointed forward and go to failure, then point my toes outward and go to failure, and then point my toes inward and go to failure. That is one set and i usually do 2 or 3 sets of that. I have always gotten a burn from it and I have started to see results in a short period of time. |

Rebelman, I just tried the calf routine you suggested......Whew!!!! What a difference and more burn! Much better than the basic standing calf machine sets I use to do. Thanks!!!!
