Even if the Pistons get pass Shaq and other east coast teams they will not be able to beat the teams in the western conference for another championship!

The pistons lost the their coach (larry brown) who will no doubt be in the hall of fame and the fact that the teams in the east are continuing to get better and healthy. i'm not saying the pistons arent good anymore becuase they are its just that too many teams continue to improve.

agreed. larry brown will be a huge loss. they are still going to be a threat in the east but the powerfull western conf. teams will be hard to beat. might be phoenix's year. mav's fan by the way.

Pistons are the team to beat in the East, with New Jersey being right with them. Now that LB is out, expect Darko to get minutes and produce. Detroit still has the core unit they've had for the past few years and they know how to play team ball. Miami has a nearly complete new team filled with me-first players. I see them folding. Indiana is a solid team and could do some damage.

No chance for the Pistons, I am picking a sleeper, Boston. I know they always mess it up but I am picking them anyway.

Not a fan of the Pistons but I have to say I am really impressed with their play although San Antonio and Dallas are closing ground on them, I think they are still the team to beat.
