Bret Hart suffers a stroke
Bret (The Hitman) Hart has suffered a stroke caused by a bicycle accident. He hit a pothole while riding at a high speed and was sent over the handlebars, landing on the back of his head. The accident occurred in his hometown of Calgary, Alberta. He is apparently recovering, but he still only has limited control of the left side of his body.

You have to be shitting me. He's one of the few people who've really represented Canada to the fullest. I hope he makes a full recovery.

Wasn't that what happened to Stu Hart as well? The stroke I mean.
Jesus, Between the Harts and the Von Errings, it's gotta be a toss up as to which families got the worst luck in sports entertainment.Last edited by THE BIG RED MACHINE; 06-28-2002 at 12:09 AM.

Bret Hart is a class act for sure!
I hope he fully recovers and Vince gives him the same opportunity he is giving Hogan to finish out his career on top!

I havn't watched wrestling since Bret Hart was the Intercontinental Champ, but any misfortune on an accident is not something I wish on any man. Hopes for a full recovery

UPDATE!!!
Bret Hart is recovering slowly but his face is still affected by the stroke. He's not too happy about what he looks like.
