Forget Maddox(allthough he has been whoopin). I'm talkin about Bulger for the Rams. That man is on fire. He will be starting for another franchise next year definately. This is starting to get the same feeling as when Warner took over for an injured Green.

Well, they have a long time before that happens. More changes in roster over the next couple might bring victory.

Football: The turnaround of the Atlanta Falcons (who said one player can't turn around a losing organization)
Basketball: The 12-0 Mav's-4 more and they will hold the record. They are in a select group.
Hockey: The Av's 1-10 record at home (counting ties in loss number) Definantly not the start we had hoped for.

    Now for your choices:

Lakers bad start: not a surprise---without Shaq they are not a championship team.

Lightning and Wild exellent starts----definantly a surprise

Rams comeback from last place---not a surprise---a quality football team that lost some close games with questionable coaching decisions. Bulger leading the team does not surprise those who know who he is. Set 20 plus records at West Virginia, was 8th in the country in passing efficiency his senior year, Insight.com Bowl MVP, but did not play for a winning team (therefore unknown in most circles). Even then the kid could play.

Tommy Maddox---6 games is definantly not a breakout season. Tennesse was breaking him in half before the injury. He found out life in the NFL is not like life in the XFL. Welcome back Kordell.
