    How Come Detroit Lions Own Thanksgiving Football ? ?

    ...............that team in particular plays every thanksgivng since who knows when.......but why??

    Its because all Lions and Cowboys players are disowned by their families for playing for such crappy teams. The NFL realized that these players had no family gatherings on Thanksgiving anymore, so they let them play football.
