    Sauna

I was just wondering? Do any of you sit in the Sauna after your workout. I did yesterday for the first time. I only spent 10 mins in there, but it felt great.

I don't, you just sweat out the water you've been drinking and it doesn't feel too great in that oven either, I have plenty of other ways I get my sweat on, JMO.

I do it all the time, makes me feel great. But I use a steam room instead of a dry sauna.

I go in there sometimes after a workout. I always feel exhausted when I come out though. Anyone know why?

From physiological standpoint supposedly post-workout sauna will drain your recovery. A cool shower followed by warm water on the other hand supposedly helps recovery. I'm not sure of the science involved but this is just results from a study that looked at post-workout temperature treatments.

the sauna also helps release toxins from the body as well, not just water. so it is beneficial in the health sense.
