    Some helful shave tips

I get really bad razor burn and thought Id share some tips Ive read about.

-Shave in the shower or immediately after a shower. Other times, splash the face with warm or hot water. This will soften up whiskers and open pores for a less painful shave.

    -Apply pre-shave lotion or balm.

-Lather with a glycerine based shaving cream if possible.Lots of lather doesn't make for a better or closer shave.

-Always shave with the grain first-shaving against the grain causes ingrown hairs. If you have to go against the grain to get a closer shave, do so lightly and at the end of the shave.

-Shave slowly. Rinse the blade often with hot water.

-Avoid applying too much pressure on your razor. That can cause razor burn or irritation.

-When youre done, rinse your face with cool water. Pat dry.

-Use an alcohol free after shave to soften the skin.

Just thought id share these with people. I get pretty bad razor burn on my neck.

    - krunch

I get it really bad on the neck too. However, I just scheduled a visit to the dermatologist to get my neck lasered, so I won't have to shave it ever again. Yippeeeee
