Lazer Hair Removal Burned ME!!
Well I got my 3rd session done on my chest/abs on Friday the 13th of all days to go!! To make a long story short she didn't put enough gel between the lazer and my skin on my side and I felt a little more of a sting in that area than the others, and now I have a trail of burn marks up my side. It hurts like a son of a b*tch but luckily it hasn't blistered so far.... it looks almost like a chemical burn does. So I am hoping it will just heal and leave no scarring. I have been putting lotion, vitamin e, and neosporin on it daily, and other tips to reduce the redness and help it heal faster with no scarring??

I'm curious, I do the wax job on my chest and abs about every 4 weeks, how many sessions does it take to permanently lose the hair... The hair is noticeable by the second week.

I would have just stuck to waxing but I get HORRIBLE ingrown hairs on my chest/abs...... I mean bad enough that they scar and leave me full of red spots even after using a loofah etc. and plenty of ingrown hair chemicals to exfoliate the skin. I am just prone to them, so I decided to lazer the hair off so I wouldn't have to mess with it anymore. They claim it takes about 5-6 treatments for permanent hair reduction (meaning enough you can't see the hair anymore)
I noticed after 2 sessions the hair has thinned somewhat but I still have plenty. And to top it off this time they burned the living $hit outa my skin. My only advice is that if you do get this procedure done, GO TO A DOCTOR and have them oversee it. Or you might end up burnt like me and with no guarantee of the hair reduction.

Got some My doc also told me to use the same. He said it will clear it up within a couple weeks because my skin may have burned but it didn't scab thank god....so he said it most likely will just turn out like a bad sun burn and go away without scarring.
