Deep Tissue Massage
Has anyone ever gotten one? I am thinking about finding someplace that gives them, I need one for my back. Ive had this weird tension/knot feeling in my back behind my right shoulder blade, it's really starting to bother me. It's not a muscle cramp.
Would I have to go see a physical therapist for this type of massage?

I have had several deep tissue massages. I feel that they are good, but not going to greatly improve anything physically, but will help stiffness and cramping, etc.
As for whether you need to see a physical therapist, no. You can see a registered massage therapist.

I went weekly for about six monthe a long time ago. It was well worth it and it helps to flush the toxins from your body . Ins. was paying that's why I was able to go so much but I would recommend it. Drink at least a gallon of water sipping it after the massage to flush the toxins or you will get flu like symptoms.

No happy ending?
No, actually that is what my wife told me when she gave mne the gift certificate for one of these. I'm really not into the message thing, so I am having a hard time convincing myself to go.
