I am sure any dishwashing detergent will have the same effect. They all cut grease and thats the idea.

for my money, toothpaste is the best anti-zit cream there is.

i dunno, i guess the mints and all that **** just dry the hell out of the zit.
it's really incredible. i'd read about it and tried it in the past (and it worked), but what really caught my attention was a couple summers ago when i had saddle sores on my inner thighs from biking (they're basically boils (which are basically bacterial zits) caused by chafing your skin + all the bacteria in your cycling shorts). i couldn't do anything to get rid of them; couldn't pop them, i poked them with needles (got pain?) and tried to drain them- everything. then i finally started putting toothpaste on and in a matter of days they completely dried up.

You have to be careful, it can "burn" your skin also.

i just try to make sure it's really plain like regular old crest or colgate with no whiteners or anything- just the plain mint paste. then once it's dry and no more puss or oil in the zit, then i start moisurizing the area so it heals fast & perfect.
