What do you guys use for your hair

I have thick ass hair that gets curly when its long and all I've been to do high school was shave the sides and spike the top with hair gel but I have been told recently it gives me a "guido" look and many girls don't like that. I think it looks good but I guess i am out of style, It seems like all girls nowadays and my age tend to go for the thinner and slightly messy hair look made possible with hair glue, wax or cement. what about you guys

You can use something like a putty or wax. These types of product will give you the hold that a gel will, but won't keep your hair looking wet. Alterna Putty or Clay, Paul Mitchell has some good paste type products. The wet, spikey look is pretty much out. A dryer, just woke up out of bed messed up look is what it sounds like you should try.

Ice spiker works well if you have thicker hair as you do. I use bed head Manipulator and it works great!! Smells good and washes out easily
