For light to moderate acne it works great. They now have a liquid that comes in a glass bottle with an applicator on the end. It's much easier then rubbing the gel all over your face.

I have used it and it didn't do much for me but for others it worked real well. Now I am taking Accutane and am glad because I am tired of spending money on shit that doesn't work.

I think Differin is the sh*t.

You should only apply it at night (makes your skin sensitive to sun). It's a retinoid. I think it's like Retin-A but not as strong. Basically, IMO, it's not used to prevent pimples, but it's good for clearing up what you already have. It also makes your skin appear younger and it fades away all the previous scarring marks. I had a one pimple scar for a couple of months and then starting using differin and it basically faded away.

It may take your skin a couple of weeks to get used to differin. I know others who had red skin for a couple of weeks, but after awhile, they their skin got used to it and they are fine now.

FWIW, I use Differin EOD and use a Climanicyn (sp) on alternating days when I don't use Differin. I do tend to skip days (due to laziness) however. HTH.

Just an update. The other topical medication I use has an applicator pad also.

It is called "Clindamycin phosphate." My sister recommended it to me, she's a pharmacist.

I've used Differin in conjuntion with Clindamyacin (gel and lotion) and an antibiotic called Minocycline. It worked well, but my acne still isn't completly gone. My doc recently switched the Differin out for Tazorac...

    peace
