drysol is the $hit! Ask your doc for it, you need a prescription. The stuff no $hit clogs your sweat glands in your arm pits.

Also - before you go to bed you should apply a coat. It won't clog your pores in a negative way and will help.

Shower as normal, but apply a coat before bed and when waking up.

The active ingredient in most of them is Aluminum Zirconium Tertacholorosomething or other.

Mitchum has the highest amount - like 20%. the Degree extra protection or something is also pretty good and it has 18% if memory serves.

But yes, apply before bed, Men's Health magazine had an article on it at one point talking about the benefits of doing this, i've tried it, it certainly works.

You apply before bed because it clogs your pores and settles in better while you're not moving around (feel free to google this). But you also should apply it in the morning.
