i think the turbo has a swivel head or is more flexible which allows for a "smooth, close shave"

LOL, its something Gillette always does when the buzz over their latest blade dies down. 'What is the REAL big difference' you ask? The name. The other changes are minor.

yeah purchased me one of those trusty mach 3 turbo razors since everyone seems to like them.. here's my out come.. (havent shaved my arms in a week) blade does dull rather quick. only was able to do my forearms before it was time to change to the second blade. (damn those blade kits cost 15 bucks)

so to my conclusion i'll stick with the cheap disposible ones then when i need a really smooth shave i'll switch to the mach turbo!

1 Swipe and your done! MACH III ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!

What else would you use? a sharp rock or one of those one blade cutters

The blades on the Turbo are exactly the same as the regular Mach 3. The only slightly noticable difference is the little rubber piece on the bottom...I guess its special "Turbo rubber".

actually, the new and improved lubribcating strip DOES help, I think... And although its colour runs out a lot quicker, thus indicating you need to replace it faster ( ), it's a lot easier to tell when it's gone.

I found Mach II tended to just fade - you were never quite sure when it was time to replace the razor. With Turbo, the colour seems to stay bright until it suddenly disappears completely.

One razor lasted me a week, just shaving my beard... (After that, it moves over to do chest and shoulders, and a new razor's brought in to do my beard )

I do feel that the new strip is good for going against the grain, but since I try to avoid that now (**** you queer eye!), it works the same as the Mach III regular.

Now, I'm wondering around the Schick Quattro....

When I started going with the grain, my face started looking like ****. I'm thinking of going electric for good, even though i hated it the first time, I'm so lazy with all this shaving. I myself prefer to look like a rabid fisherman, but others bitch when I'm not clean cut.

Now they have that new M3 razor. It has PULSATING waves that makes your hair stand up so you get a closer shave. 10 bucks for 4 razors. Try to rip me off on that price. Hell no.
