    Arm pit hair!

I am asking this question in order to find out everyone's opinion outside of the competitive scene.

I was just wondering what everyone's opinion is on shaving arm pit hair as a male? Me, personally, I have never touched it before, I am not a hairy person, but I have been considering trimming it for swimming season and tank top purposes in the gym.

Is it feminine? Doesn't matter? Itchy? A must?

My woman seems adamant I should not touch it one bit. My opinion is that trimming is okay and shaving is okay but I wouldn't ever shave it mine completely.

I'm a hairy bastard all over. I call it my winter sweater that accompanies me year round lol. I do trim mine just bc it gets wilder than jungle fever in there at times. I don't think I'd have the balls to shave it but trimming isn't so bad. It does make me itchy though but not too bad.

I normally used the clippers with no guard. Hate armpit hair more than any other hair!

I did not vote. I think it odd for a man to not have some arm pit hair. But if I had to choose between the jungle rat nest and hardwood floors....I have to go with hardwood.

    Trim is my first choice.

On females - shave that stuff. Lol

Shaved smooth for years. Never itchy and less sweat.

Tried having them waxed once too. ONCE being the word!

After Sgt Hartman making fun of me for a solid year calling me buckwheat - I finally decided to trim them. Put trimming is as far as I've went. I do keep my chest and junk silky smooth though.

Well the real reason this came up is because I was in the gym a few days ago in a tank, which I normally do not wear because I am somewhat self conscious about my stretch marks that just formed and are still noticeable since I haven't tanned much. I saw some arm pit hair poking out with my arms down by my side. IT was then that I told myself that might be too much.

I trim, they don't get noticeably itchy though once I used a razor and it wasn't very pleasant.

Shaving is not a bright idea as it will lead to irritation when it grows back. I personally wax all body hair off my body.

So you have buckwheat in a head lock. Time to trim with clippers with no guard.

I do shave and I believe that hair makes you sweat and hold on to bacteria which lead to bad odor.
In where I live, it is almost like a must to shave. All guys and girls shave their pits. Just to stay clean.

I believe hair holds onto odors as well, I feel that less hair is more hygienic

However shaving it gives me irritation - not a fan.

Definitely use the trimmer for regular manscaping.

As far as looking feminine, How feminine can you look if you're muscles are HUGE?

    my 2 cents.

I have been trimming with the shortest clip on my mustache/beard trimmer for as long as I can remember. No sweat and no odor!

Odor is probably the biggest factor for me. Keeping it trimmed really short solves that problem.

I agree to a certain extent. These last few years I have been shaving the pit hair. Prior to shaving, I was getting rashes since hair creates friction when lifting. These rashes actually get pretty red and hurt a bit. So a few years ago, I did the Veet thing in the shower, and viola! Rashes disappear. It still seems strange to me, and I don't advertise I do this silly thing, but it sure beats the alternative

Make sure she does her Brazilian 2

But for everyone here FYI, If you get laser and everything is gone and then you run a cycle, hair is likely to grow back

Trim to shave smooth. I keep it very short all the time. Hair traps bacteria which contributes to the bad odor - no thank you.

My wife waxes her body - head to toe, minus her head I suppose. lol. I love how incredibly smooth she feels.

Like BIB, I had my HAW wax my chest once and legs twice. Never again. I don't know how women can tolerate a bikini wax - that takes some brass balls!

I've had my chest waxed twice. It wasn't so painful, that didn't bother me, but I was very disappointed with how quickly it grew back, so I'm not going to bother again, the expense isn't worth it. So I'll just clipper it very short, coz I'm not very hairy I can gat away with that.

Same with the armpits, though I never had them waxed.

It does take some time getting your head around manscapping your armpits as a guy, but I like it better that way, so who cares.

    I shave mine.

However if I were with a girl who I was committed to and she said that she hated shaved pits I would leave them alone.

Agreed. Underarms, pubes, and legs(for convienance) get a hair buzzer with no clip. It gets Extremely close. Another reason for me is razor burn. Under arms is unbearable and inner thys rubbing is no bueno

I shave the pits completely. Until the laser unit removes it permanently. If anyone wants permanent hair removal you can buy a home laser called TRIA. After a couple months the hair is gone forever. It's was about 400 dollars when I bought mine, but one professional treatment can be over 100 dollars. Even with the professional lasers you have to go back multiple times for each area. If your hairy like i am it is worth the cost.

Haha you guys serious. Shaving arm pit hair!? Shaving anything except for face would be weird to me. One of the perks of being a men is we don't need to shave. Men are hairy beasts. Not some soft feminine cute little thing. Wtf

Perks?!?!? Beats me why someone likes hair in their balls.

Shave that thing off, believe me, you will get better oral sex.

Regarding arm pits (as rest of body) trimming is enough.

Shave everything....legs, arms, man scaping. Have no chest hair so no worries there. Never will do arm pits.

But a little tip if no one has tried. For man scaping use a woman's razor. Even for legs too.
