Question More hair on left side of body?

Hair grows thicker on my left quad than it does on the right quad. Same thing for my arms, although nobody but me would ever notice. Does anybody have an explanation for this? Maybe I'm just a freak? Just curious.

Must be a Canadian thing then...my right arm is a bit hairier than my left. My theory...it is b/c I'm right handed and the blood is flowing more in that arm b/c it's being used more. Maybe you're walking on one leg more than the other.

    Pheedno: yeah, I'm creative.

MBH: I'm right handed, so I'm not sure how it would affect my left side.

BIG TEXAN: I shouldn't have made that sound like a question. I know I'm a freak.

I have more hair on my right leg as well. Maybe it's just the assumption that "normal" people have equal amounts of hair on opposite parts of their bodies. The human body is weird... but if you started a thread saying you have more hair on your right eyelid than your left than........

i know they did studies with hair growth on brick layers, since they carry their hod(sp?) on one shoulder it would get hairier than the other. so what they found is that friction etc plays a role in hair growth, so the friction from your clothes, and the way you move your body over the course of years can lead to more hair growth.
