Tanning is probably the best. It's more reliable than depending on the weather. I've also used some sunless tanning that has worked really well. If you want to check that out, then go to www.sunless.com Beats getting cancer

I didn't like the sunless tanning lotion I've used. Tanning beds work best IMO

Thanks guys. Neo, does that sunless tanner look natural and will it hurt your ability to get a real tan?

Sunless tanning lotions work best if you mix them with tanning in the tanning bed once a week. That way it looks more natural.

I refuse to use sun tan lotion whether i am tanning in a bed or outdoors. But i still beleave being outside and having fun is the best way to get a tan.

tanning outside is way better then indoor tanning in terms of health effects but if u cant tan outside for whatever reason then indoor will work

Well I don't know much about it OR if it's even any good BUT I just heard this in the news the other day. There is this new and growing tan thing, where you walk into a small room, you stand up, there are three different poses you have to hit, and the machine sprays you with some liquid that gives you that tanned look. This will last you 6-7 days long. And it only costs 21 dollars. Now this is Toronto News so I don't know about the US.

terinox....we have that here in the U.S. too...you stand in a booth and it sprays you with a mist like in a car wash.....don't know anyone who has tried it, but it seems like an easier way to put on sunless tanning lotion.....

Neo, where did you get the No-Ad from? I've gotten some of there stuff at Wal-Mart, but I've never seen any of the sunless tanning lotion. I checked out that link, good info, I know which ones to stay away from now. Thanks for the help.

Hey I tried the Bannana Boat Sunless Tanning Spray - Deep Dark Blend
Got it at CVS. I was suprised how well it worked and how natural it looked. It was recomended to me by Big Kev.
Im 31 now, enough sun damage. In my 20's I would just lay out in the sun but the damage comes out a few years later. There is no getting away with it.

They probably sell it at Walmart or Target. It's a big yellow bottle. My girlfriend got me the bottle I have now. I'll check with her and get back to ya as to where she got it from. PM me soon, and I'll let ya know.
OH yeah, like scott and bigkev had said, banana boat --deep dark works pretty well too....but I've been using the NO-AD because its really easy to fix any mistakes and make it as dark as you want.

most of the white ifbb people use sunless tanners to get that bonze look. this really is the only safe way. and unfortunately, you get what you pay for. other than that the only difference between tanning bed and the sun is that you know the dose so can control it better. most research has shown that in addition to overall dosage, the amount of sunburns are a factor in skin cancer. one more thing, always use sunblock on your face, neck and hands. you'll thank me when you are 50 and look 40 rather than 80!

brothers and sisters of iron... I use to run a GNC and there was a tanning boost that alot of people talked about and seemed to be convienced that worked... l-tyrosine and copper.... i'm not sure of the exact amounts taken, because it's been a while... but i just thought i might mention it for people who might want to know about it or if someone has more insight on it than I do...

actually there are certain photosensitizers out there. certain antibiotics and other things (i believe st johns wort..but not to take if you are on the pill...birth control that is cause of P450 enzymes) in general, you just tan faster but the same damage is done.
HOWEVER, there is a certain combination of minerals and amino acids that can get you darker without sun and helps accelerate tanning, AND protects from sun damage. I dont remember what the stuff is, maybe benchmark has the one, but I do know that it works...barely. It stimulates melanin production.

oh yeah, there is also a pharmaceutical under development that stimulates melanin production on the hormonal level in the brain. Unfortunately, they found that it causes people to get horny.
I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP!

I don't think sunless tanners can be bad for you, they just die skin which is already dead. I found that if I put some on Thursday night it will last through the weekend. I think the bananna boat spray was $7.99 per bottle.

funny story about the melanin producer. turns out they scrapped that plan and started trying to make it into the next generation viagra. Viagra may help you get it up, but it doesnt cause arousal on its own, which is its limitation. This stuff makes stuff happen when you may be thinking of your mom on the toilet. It also seems to be just as effective with women (which is also unlike viagra).
Last I heard it was heading to Phase II. But the devil is in the details as only 10% make it from one stage to the next.

I just bought some NO-AD, the same stuff Neo mentioned. I bought it at Shoppers Drug Mart for $8.99 CDN - big yellow bottle. I'll give it a try and let you all know how it works for me.

NO-AD worked well. It looks similar to a tanning bed tan. I applied it 4 times (every 3 hours). I think I'll wait a bit longer in the future because it took longer than 3 hours to see results. Its very easy to fix lighter areas, and darker area blend in after showering. How long does it last, Neo?

I put a lot on, like you did. Usually lasts about 5 or 6 days before you need to reapply depending on your skin. Also, if you get some natural sun along with it, then it seems to last longer. Glad you liked it bro...
