Another thread about joint/tendon health...
Not sure if this should be in the injury/recovery or nutrition forum but I have a few concerns.
Having some issues with dry joints and tendons, multiple ones. Sore/hurting knees, rotator cuffs, tendonitis in my elbows ect... I usually lift heavy with a 12-10-8-6 rep scheme which I know isnt good for this. Im not a big guy but I notice the best results. I lift 4-5 days a week depending how everything feels.
I have been taking animal flex for maybe 2 months now but lifting this much is still taking its toll...
Also WTF is in super cissus from USP? is cissus a root or something?
After more research and not wanting to give into the supplement hype Ive found to take all kinds of stuff. And im considering trying some...
-hypolized gelatin
-flax seed oil
-gamma-linoleic acid(GLA)
-Obviously glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate (which i believe is marketing scam)
-Fish oil
-Vitamin E and C
Considering trying 2 or 3 of these... Or should i just try the animal flex longer?

Sounds like some type of proprietary blend in my opinion. Now the root word Cissus is apart of taxonomy because I've heard it used to describe some shrubberies or something in a game. It could be completely made up, but it sounds legit.
I used to use tart cherry juice extract to keep inflammation down when I was younger and dealing with growing pains. My mother always lived by it's antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Only place I got it from was Trader Joe's, but I'm sure any outlet would do you just want to make sure the cherries used for the concentrate were grown naturally.
Anything that exerts anti-inflammatory properties will help you out.
