    r-ala

I know you take 100 mg of r-ala for every 40-50 carbs you have. But do you take it after you have the carbs or before? Thanks

Is it before you eat a 40 to 50g's of carbs in a meal? For instance If I eat 15 at one meal and 30 in another when would I take ther-ala. Just trying to make sure I understand. I usually get all my carbs from my pwo shake(dextrose).

But only when I take 40 - 50 right. Today I have had around 16 carbs from nuts and a low carb protein bar. I would wait till I have had more carbs to take the r-ala.

R-ala IMO is one of the best supplements out right now. It shuttles carbs you eat to your muscles, rather than to adipocytes where they will be stored as fat.

Is the regular ala OK if that's all I have right now? And should I increase the ala amount in my PWO shake - I usually have 80 g dextrose, 40 g protein, 1000 mg ala.

I don't know the specifics of the difference between r-ala and ala. So i can't help you out on that one, try checking out some other sources to find out.
