WHEN is the right time to Take creatine
Ive been talking creatine on and off for the last three years. The way i would take it was i would load up for five days, then 5g after every work out.But now im reading threads that say loading up is BS, you dont need to. And to take 5g pre-workout then 5g post-workout. What is the ideal time to take creatine? Theres so many threads i cant get a straight answer. Thanx

I take mine 5g before working out, and that's it. As far as the loading, always felt that was bs, just a way to make you spend more, though I've never been really impressed with creatine, though vitargo and v12 were descent.

For a while, in my own dumbass uneducated ways. I was taking a stack of 5g creatine before and after work out, plus amino fuel 1000, three times a day, plus ripped fuel three times a day. Needless to say I had a hellava time falling a sleep. But I did get some decent size and cut at the same time. Just lucky I guess. I was doing mostly heavy sets of 3x3 and running 5 miles a day, M-F and sometimes Saturdays. I did this during lent (40 days not including weekends) and gave up snacking on sweat breads, cookies candies, alcohol, and nacho cheese. At the end of it I had a pretty nice six pack abs going. Then I resumed my crappy diet and lost it.

what if you eat one hour before you lift? should you still take it a half hour before you work out? I know you should take the stuff on an empty stomach

dude if you take in 30 g carbs and 10-15 g protein pre work out then post work out take your creatine with a glass of apple/pineapple or cranberry juice you'll see the diff in a couple of weeks.

but if you need to take a PWO shake you cant really take you're creatine right after. plus you cant really wait for it to digest and take it after that either cause you need to take your PWO meal an hour after that.
