Vitamin Ban In The Thinking Stage !

    *Senate to Consider Vitamin Ban*

The World Trade Organization’s food and drug regulatory body is
controlled by big drug companies, and they are trying to use it to make
all but the smallest doses of vitamins illegal to purchase without a
prescription worldwide. The Dietary Supplement Safety Act of 2003,
Senate Bill 722, would do just that in the US, by effectively regulating
out of existence the sale of almost all vitamin supplements at higher
    potencies, except by prescription.

This really isn't funny at all. Can't you see that this is corrupt gov't and big drug companies in collusion with each other. The drug companies can't make any money on supps and herbs. The whole ephedra thing was a smoke screen. Can you imagine what a 6.00 bottle of vitamins will cost?

doc visit 75.00/ script/ and then 25.00 for prescription vitamine C. This F***ing pisses me, off I feel like my head is going to explode over this.

This is blatant corruption in our faces. These A-holes at the drug companies are realizing that natural substances like milk thistle work better than any crap they can invent so they want a piece of the action. I hope the greedy bastards burn in hell over this one!

But if we ban Fast Food, does that include Subway? I mean you can lose weight eating those sandwiches all the time... just look at Jared!

Speaking of Fast food, I was at Burger King the other day (hey I was with a group of people that all wanted to go) and they have Low Carb burgers... served on a bun and sold as a combo meal with FRIES! I mean if they are going to offer low carb shouldn't their low carb meal be served with side salad instead of fries!

Aahaha..........why is it that government feels the need to try to "protect" us from everything under the sun.............speaking of which, when is the "ban the sun" regulation coming out. Does the government have any idea as to how many people a year die from skin cancer caused by the harmful UV rays the wicked sun gives off?
Ever heard anyone dieing from a multi-vitamin overdose?

Why do you guys believe everything you read on a message board? First of all the World Trade organization (www.wto.org) does not have a food and drug body and they don't have anything to do with what you can purchase. They are involved with trade and tarriffs between countries. I don't know where MOAIB got this info, but it's a crock.

You should be concerned about Bill 722 however, but not because of vitamins. The actual bill is right here for you to read. http://www.thenhf.com/Durbin%20S722.pdf Take a look through, especially the comments near the end on stimulants and steroid precursors.
