Before & After Workout Drinks ???

Me and my friend don't really drink anything specific before or after our workouts. But I think maybe that it would help quite a bit, especially since our workouts are usually like 2 hours!!!

What would be best? Drink something before or after?

And what are those things to drink? I'm not refering to creatine or glutmine. I mean more of a protein/carb types of drinks. Or even types of foods/fruits anything, that you guys know for a fact really helps out the workout!

    Thnx

MCT Fuel Liquid-16 oz A high octane 'human machine oil' that contains emulsified medium chain triglycerides (MCTs) and emulsified vitamin E. Used as a quick acting, highly concentrated energy source, it's an ideal alternative to high carbohydrate energy drinks for bodybuilders on low carbohydrate, high protein diets. Specially developed for quicker, easier assimilation and for people who cannot tolerate the taste of ordinary MCT oil, MCT
Fuel's formula contains no chemical emulsifiers - only small amounts of lecithin and apple pectin. Plus, its delicious 100% natural orange flavor is a huge improvement over ordinary MCT oil.

Ultra Fuel Liquid 16 oz-12/Case A complete performance drink that can help extend endurance, speed recovery and enhance performance during training and competition. Replenishes vital fluids, electrolytes, vitamins, succinates and lactic acid buffers, as well as provides a true power lift predominantly in the form of glucose polymers (a complex carbohydrate) and a small amount of 100% pure crystalline fructose (no sucrose or high fructose corn syrups are present). One 16-oz serving of Ultra Fuel supplies 100 grams of high quality carbohydrates, plus important carbohydrate and
energy metabolizers (including chromium) and 100% of the U.S. RDA of stress B vitamins and vitamin C. No added preservatives or sodium.

sport drink like power aid or gatorade during and after your workout.

protein shakes throughout the day only if you cant get enough in with real food which is sometimes hard.

I know about the creatine/glutamine and also the protein shakes and the food diet etc...I was mainly asking for other types of drinks/solids that could be eaten before/after. Preferably before, so that I don't get so hungry during my workout. My workouts are 2 hours.

WELL I THINK YOU POST WORK OUT MEALS SHOULD BE THE MOST IMPORTANT. BECAUSE YOU ARE TRYING TO RECOVER. I WOULD DO A POST WORK OUT SHAKE AS SOON AS YOU DONE WORKING OUT. YOU CAN GO TO WWW.PROTIENFACTORY.COM THEY HAVE A AWESOME POST WORK OUT DRINK. ALSO KEEP YOUR MEALS HIGH IN PROTIEN GI COMPLEX CARBS, AND EASY FATS. OH YA AND YOUR WORK OUTS ARE TO LONG BRO. YOU ARE OVER TRAINING. MY WORK OUTS ARE 45-60MIN SOMETIMES 75MIN. WHEN I WORK OUT ABS.

Well I go M/W/F and on those days, I workout two mucles groups.
And I also workout abs on all those three days. The shortest I can seem to do it in is 2 hours. BUT I usually feel okay though. I don't feel tired or lose energy, I can go 2 hours easy and my body feels like it's handling it okay, so I think i'm gonna stick to 2 hours, but that's the max, not more then 2.

dude terinox, 2 hours is way to long in my opinion, but I suppose everybodys body is difffrent. Maybe you should split your workouts apart and go shorter, just a suggestion.
