Flax seed oil liquid vs pills

I got some flax pills that are 1000mg each and my lifting partner has liquid. He takes a tablespoon w/ 14g of stuff. The bottle of my pills say take one or two daily or some junk, we all know not to follow the manufacter's directions. Do I have to take 14 pills every nite or are the pills a more concintrated oil or some junk? Ive been taking 3 every nite for about a week just to be sure. This is for a protien/fat meal on my cutting diet BTW.

Yeah bro. You really need the liquid. 1 g of EFA's is going to do absolutely nothing for you. Many bro use up to 3 tbsp. a day of flax. That's 42 pills a day. The liquid is much better.

there's also the actual seeds. You can buy like a pound of the Golden kind (which taste better) for like $1.20. And you can buy the "regular" flax for like $ .58!!!! It's a heck of a lot cheaper this way, and you don't have to worry as much about "supplementing" it, 'cause with the cost of the oil I was wary on how much I used. Now if I need a fat in a meal and there's nothing else, I dump in the flax, no worries on price

With the seeds, do you just crack em open like sunflower seeds or just chomp em down? Whats "regular" flax, powder?

I use flax seeds and love them. I grind them in my coffee grinder and use them in shakes. Taste fine, and also get the benefit of the seeds over the extract. For example, flax seeds have 10g Protein, 5 g Dietary Fiber, and 10g good Fat for a .25cup (ground) serving. LOVE EM!

Seeds you can find at most grocery, or at least health food stores. That is what I use. It is not cheap, but it lasts quite a while. I just got a deal at a Meijer Superstore that isn't selling it anymore. I got 2 tins of seeds (I forget the size) for 3.97 each, down from something like $11!
