    total efa's or flax seed oil??

    what would be better to take a total efa or just flax seed oil??
    Or are they pretty much the same?

    I would just stick with the actual flax in oil form. If you can ever find fish oil in the actual oil form get that as 7g of EFAs from flax only equal 1g of cod liver oil EFAs.

    Gonz, I use Udo's Choice Blend as a total EFA, and I grind my own Flax seeds for use in my PWO shake. I think it provides a nice balance in my diet. J.M.O though

    One downfall though to Fish oil is that you will burp it up all day after taking it. It is better if you take it with a meal but the taste just get so horrible burping up all day I only take it as a last resort if I run out of Flax.

    Udo's is nasty, but great. I agree... that, flax, fish oils(sometimes), and almonds are my staples...

    Olivie oil is another good source too.

    Yeah, Extra Virgin although if you are using it for frying you can use Virgin too, as the nutritional value is altered when frying. The difference being that Virgin is refined where Extra Virgin is cold pressed.
