    Caffeine and Creatine

    im currently takeing TRAC creatine and hydroxycut to help me shed some body fat will the caffeine in the hydroxycut mess with the performance of the creatine ?????

    yes.... it will... Although i wouldnt do both at the same time... if you still want to take them atleast 2-3 hours apart or more.

    i would take them 2 in the morning 2 for lunch and 2 per workout wth my createin would i be better off gettin the caffeine free hydroxicut??

    Caffeine essentially nullifies the mass building effect of creatine.

    this is how it goes...caffein helps you get rid of that water that is in your muscle....CREATINe helps you get more water in thoes spots were water stays so you look bigger...WELL IF YOU PUT CREATINE AND CAFEIN TOGETHER IT PREATY MUCH CANCELS OUT. now what i mean

    Why would caffeine have any effect on creatine's ability to increase ATP in the muscle cell. Sure the caffeine might reduce water retention, but I have a hard time believing that it would cancel out any ATP related benefits creatine causes. Mark

    well im not 100% sure about it. but it seems to me that cafein is taken so you actually get that look of being dry. thats why we do eca. not only does it speed up your metabolism but it actually tends to dry you out. which is the oposite of creatine.
    so anyone correct me if im wrong. but as far as i know cafein is something you use before contest and is something that speeds you up and drys you. which is the oposite of creatine as i said. so my thoughts jsut tell me that it would be no good.
    im sure the creatine will give you the energy and better work outs. but as far as retaining fluids within the muscle, its gonna be harders since your taking somethign that inhibists it.
