    Yes, you should take it post-workout for greatest absorption. You can take pre-workout, as some say it will be in your bloodstream/muscle while working out, but if you take it postworkout it will be stored and available when your next workout occurs.

    That's the short answer.

    If you take it pre-workout, make sure you drink planty. It tends to dehydrate you.

    will it absorb if i put it in my nlarge shake and drink it right after workout? i add some dextrose to my nlarge also.
