At what age is it safe for a very active High School athelete to start using creatine? What kind of results can you expect to get?

You can use creatine as early as you want. Its essentially one of the safest supplements to take, with minimal sides. Just make sure you drink enough water while on creatine.

You could definately use it during the season. Just drink a gallon or more each day along with potassium and taurine to stop any chance of cramps.

i use it during season to preserve strength due to the stress we put on our bodies and lack of proper recooperation during the season. and like suggested above, gallon minimum every day

I used it thru my junior and senior fb seasons. Some say it can cause cramps, but I never had that problem. Basically, the main thing is to stay hydrated, as football practice and games cause you to perspire a lot.

I read in a Fitness RX, Creatine can't be linked to Cramps (June Issue). It said it was just an excuse? could be one of those paid under the table researches?
